Jen Scalise Marinofsky
Jen brings enormous
experience to our team as a coach and teacher. She grew up
training and successfully competing at the US swimming level
and after college, she worked for 12 years as a special education
teacher. Over the last several years she has had the
opportunity to train for triathlons where she has also been quite
successful. She has qualified and competed in the Hawaii
Ironman three times. She also works at Longfellow as the
competitive swim instructor and certified fitness trainer and is
the head swim coach at Natick High School. She is married
with a toddler and lives in Framingham.
Cara grew up in Sudbury
and was one of the original members of the Sudbury Swim Team. She
swam for both LSRHS and at the US level specializing in the IM
events and butterfly. She graduated from the University of Richmond
where she played water polo. She has worked many summers as a
lifeguard and swim coach at Greenwood Swim Club. She has her
Masters Degree in Elementary Education and a license in Special
Education . She is currently teaching in the Natick Public Schools
as a middle school special educator.
Matt H Northrup
Matt's swimming career began early, and in high school he was a five-time All American and two-time New York State Champion. His swimming career continued into Boston College where he was a varsity member of the Eagles for four years and set three school relay records. Matt has earned his certification for Safety Training as a Swim Coach by the American Red Cross. He was an assistant USS Club Swim Coach for the Syracuse Chargers in his hometown of Syracuse, NY before moving to the Boston area and coaching Masters programs at the JCC in Newton and Atkinson and Sudbury Swim and Tennis. He also serves as the Head Coach of the Swymfit Swordfish. This is Matt's fourth year with SST.
Molly K Meehan
Molly joins the Sudbury Swim Team as the newest member of the
coaching staff. She comes from Upstate New York, where she grew up
swimming and competing at the USS, high school, and collegiate
levels. After graduating college, she started teaching 5th grade
and coaching in the Albany, NY area. She has coached age level USS
teams, high school swimming, and Division I Swimming and Water Polo
at Siena College. She is currently a Special Education teacher in
Fitchburg and is excited to bring her teaching and coaching skills
to the Sudbury Swim Team!
Here is where you can put the bio for the coach or board of director. To add or change this bio, login in as a super-user and click on Account/Member Admin. Then add the last name into the search field and click on the Search button. Click on the name that appears. At the next screen you will click on the Member name below the main account information. If there is no member in the list, click on Create New and fill-in all of the information. In this view you will also have the ability to add a bio and a photo. Once all of the changes have been made click on Save Changes.
