| Head Coach, Jen Scalise Jen brings enormous experience to our team as a coach and teacher. She grew up training and successfully competing at the US swimming level and after college, she worked for 12 years as a special education teacher. Over the last several years she has had the opportunity to train for triathlons where she has also been quite successful. She has qualified for and will compete in the Hawaii Ironman in mid October. She also works at Longfellow as the competitve swim Instructor and certified fitness trainer and is the assistant swim Coach at Natick High School. She is married and lives in Framingham.
Assistant Coach, Renata Aylward
Renata also grew up swimming in Wellesley and went on to swim in College at both the Div. I and III levels. She is a Mom of one 8 year old swimmer, Maggie, and lives in Sudbury. For the past four years she has worked as the Assistant swim coach at Babson College. She also coaches the noon time masters program at Atkinson and is the president of a triathlon club.
Cara D’Innocenzo
Cara grew up in Sudbury and was one of the original members
of the Sudbury Swim Team. She swam for both LSRHS and at the US
level specializing in the IM events and butterfly. She graduated
from the University of Richmond where she played water polo. She
has worked many summers as a lifeguard and swim coach at
Greenwood Swim Club and is currently working towards her masters
degree in education. She plans on a career as an elementary
school teacher and currently working as a teaching assistant in
Sudbury.
